food was ok. However, delivery took 1 hr and 40 minutes (I live 8 blocks away). After the first hour passed, I called the restaurant and they said they would get right on it and then just hung up on me. No apologies or offers of store credit, etc. There are a ton of good pizza places in the East Village, so Two Boots isn't good enough to justify this kind of wait and poor service.

Very good pizza with some nice Nawlins (New Orleans) flavor. Two Boots makes a nice thin crust pizza with a heavy dusting of corn meal. There are some unusual toppings, such as andouille. I usually get their calzone, which is oozing with ricotta and mozzarella.

Food was fine (if you're ordering delivery in winter expect it to be nearly cold when it arrives, even if the delivery person runs to your apartment 2 blocks away). But the most angering thing was that the food took 2 hours to arrive. And that they lied repeatedly to me about the status of the order. I called after 20 minutes, noticing that they had not yet sent a delivery confirmation, and the lady on the phone said it had already left the restaurant. I called again an hour later, and she said she was watching my pizza being put into the bag. Finally, after an hour and 50 minutes and my last call to the restaurant, the doorbell rings. I asked the delivery person, and he had just ran over from the restaurant. It was slightly warm. They are very comfortable with being 2 hours late (despite a super close proximity) and lying a lot over the phone when they deliver. Never again.

Ordered was 90 minutes late. The pizza was COLD and the order was wrong. I will never order from Ave A again.

Don't order unless you're 2 blocks away. Pizza was cold and took double the time. When we called they said our next pie was free. But we had to call back three different days because every time we called there was no "manager" there to approve it. When we finally got our replacement order, same issue took forever and arrived cold. we give up! horrible service and food is only good if you are there in person.

love it! and i am obsessed with their blue cheese dressing and being naughty and dipping the crust in it! YUM!
